Computers have enveloped the network around the globe. With the help of Internet, its development and population doubled as thousands of manufacturers produce millions as time passes by. Also the world's physical, economical, and much of the developments were made possible and made better because of the real dynamic duo---the computer and the Internet.
As one tries to understand and continually use a computer, he will now be called as a "computer literate". Thus calling many people like the one who's reading this.
The researchers were curious about early connection between a student and a computer. The researchers chose the BSIT 1 students as their respondents to have a more meaningful research. And chose their IT Fundamental subject where they have to use their computer skills ans as being a computer literate as a connection to this research.
This research is entitled "The effects of early computer integration to the academic performance of the first year Information Technology students of the University of Southeastern Philippines in their IT Fundamental subject".
By looking through the the BSIT 1 students of USEP or the respondent's point of view, it is possible to attain the goal of this research which is to understand the effects of computer literacy in their studies and to answer some further questions. This research is to point out the advantages and the disadvantages of computer integration in their learning.
